GLOBAL TREND RADAR
How to Read Global Trend Radar
Effective date: 1 November 2026
Every platform keeps its own source evidence. Our dashboard presents that existing collection with its established ranking order.
Positions and metrics
The colored badge is the position in this saved platform list. If a platform provided a rank, it is separately labeled “Source rank”. A view count, like count or community score is displayed with its own metric name. Different platforms, source scopes and observation windows are not added together into a universal popularity score.
Topics and hashtags
Topic cards contain reviewed entries. The hashtag view uses the existing tag collection; it may contain native chart entries or tags observed in public-post samples. These are separate outputs. Sampled tags do not establish a complete official platform ranking.
Time and archives
“Data updated” is the newest source observation in the snapshot. Each entry keeps its own observation time and window. A daily archive stores the first completed snapshot saved for that date in Asia/Shanghai time. Later builds can update the live dashboard, but do not replace an existing dated archive. Days without saved snapshots have no archive link.
Daily editions and links
The first daily website edition selects 50 distinct topics in each of eight categories from the existing saved data, for a 400-topic baseline when sufficient reviewed material is available. Each topic has one representative platform entry; the full library retains its other source evidence. Each subsequent edition compares identities locally and appends only newly introduced topics, marked NEW. Existing first-edition records stay intact. Update timing and the number of rounds are not fixed.
Source buttons open the original platform link. A gold Deep Dive button appears only when a topic carries an explicit article_url pointing to an article in our publication network. There is no inferred article link. Short descriptions reuse existing titles or supplied descriptions.
